This is the first of three mini field trips to try out innovative metaverse learning experiences in a hands-on session (No headsets or installations needed. uniVERSEty

The XR Learning Space is an interactive 3D environment accessible in browsers on desktop, mobile, and VR headsets, offering an immersive way to explore, learn, and share knowledge about Immersive Learning. An exhibition space showcases several immersive learning projects created by members of the uniVERSEty network.

Rolf Kruse is a professor of digital media at Erfurt University of Applied Sciences. He is the initiator of the uniVERSEty network and co-chair of the MSF Education Group. He is also a member of the Working Group “Metaverse and XR” of the German Standards Organization (DIN).


Tangra

Tangra is a platform for educators who want to go beyond the traditional classroom and create immersive, AI-powered learning experiences that captivate students and spark deeper understanding. More info at https://tangra.link/products/immersive-learning


Flock XR – The free 3D creation tool for young people

Flock XR is an open source browser-based 3D creation tool for young people aged 9-14+ Flock XR allows young people to create immersive 3D experiences with extended reality features. Flock XR is in early access and is funded through grants from NLnet Foundation and UK Games Fund. Website: https://flockxr.com/
Tracy is a Co-Founder of Flip Computing and the creator of Flock XR. Tracy has used her extensive background in computer science and education to develop a platform that allows young people to develop creative and technical skills for the future.
