Skills for 3D Creation Task Force Kickoff

The Education Working Group is issuing a call to action for those invested in the future of 3D creation education for all! Please consider joining the newly formed Skills for 3D Content Creation Task Force.

Why do we need a Task Force?

3D creation tools are being used across many industries to create extended reality experiences, games, digital twin solutions, fashion and brand experiences, geospatial projects and so much more. There are many amazing career opportunities that use these technologies. However, the path to developing the skills to reach those opportunities is not always clear to educators and learners.

What will the Task Force do?

This Task Force will help make career paths in 3D content creation more visible and accessible, support educators and learners in navigating education programs, and make cross-industry career moves more approachable.

Together, Task Force members will identify and organize technology-neutral 3D creation competencies across sectors. We anticipate that the group will produce a skills map and accompanying whitepaper, and in the future, curate a corresponding register of educational resources for the community.

This informational meeting is open to anyone who wants to learn more about the goals of the Task Force.
