Thank you for applying to become a member of the Metaverse Standards Forum!

We will review the information you enter here and confirm your membership tier and annual membership dues (if any) over email, and ask you to review the Membership Agreement auto-completed with your membership details and execute it online. Your membership privileges will commence when we receive confirmation of you executing the agreement and any membership dues.

Forum membership is available to any organization who wishes to join, but we are currently not able to accommodate individual members. If you are not affiliated with an organization that wishes to join, we welcome keeping you apprised of the latest Forum updates through you signing up here.

By completing this form you are representing and warranting that all information provided is true, accurate, and complete to the best of your knowledge and belief, and that any false or misleading statements may result in your organization’s Forum membership being adjusted, suspended or terminated. The revenue and asset figures used to determine a member’s fees will be kept confidential to Forum staff.

Participant - Access to all Forum member plenary meetings and Domain Group activities

Principal - Play a key role in Forum oversight with voting rights in member plenary meetings, voting participation in the Forum Oversight Committee that manages the Domain Group Pipeline, and the right to stand for election to the Board of Directors and Advisory Panels, and vote in Board and Advisory Panel elections

Gold and Platinum Principals

The Forum has two membership tiers: Participant and Principal. Gold and Platinum are optional contribution levels available to Principal members who wish to further support MSF operations and impact — they do not create additional membership tiers or change governance in any way.

In addition to all standard Principal benefits, Gold and Platinum Principals receive additional public recognition for their enhanced level of support.

Optional Contribution Tiers:

Gold Principal – $15,000 annually
Platinum Principal – $20,000 annually

These tiers do not change governance, voting rights, Board composition, or member obligations.

Recognition & Benefits:

Listing on the MSF website as Promoter Members, by tier (Gold or Platinum Principal)
Consistent acknowledgment in MSF communications (e.g., "Supported by MSF Promoter Members…")
Optional sponsorship recognition for existing assets such as town halls, webinars, or major public events (e.g., "Volumetric Media Town Hall sponsored by…")
